TEMS - Trusted European Media Data Space

TEMS – Trusted European Media Data Space is the flagship European initiative to build a resilient data-driven ecosystem in the media sector.

1001 Lakes plays a central role in several activities within TEMS. The company’s experts contribute to analyzing the media data value chain, identifying the needs and requirements of trials, and designing frameworks for data governance, data management, and legal compliance. They have also been instrumental in developing common media vocabularies, ensuring data space interoperability, and planning both trials and AI tools. In addition, 1001 Lakes has participated in designing the ecosystem’s business and content marketing policy framework, selecting and deploying key building blocks for the data space, and creating rulebooks for both the trials and the overall data space. Their work extends to establishing a governance model, defining requirements for a legal entity, developing an onboarding–offboarding lifecycle management model, and getting involved in project management.

Our specific roles in the project have been especially in the area of technical development, business analysis, as well as legal and governance development.
